How we make money
A site that recommends things should say who pays it. This is the whole answer.

A Bedder World
Mattress Recycling Guy is run by Tim Sumerfield, who also founded A Bedder World, a nationwide mattress recycling company. When you book a pickup through a link here, that money goes to a business he owns. That is the main commercial relationship on this site, and it is labelled on every listing and every page where it appears rather than only here.
It is also why every other option is listed beside it, with its real price — including the free ones and the companies that compete with us. A comparison that only looks good for the company that owns it is not worth reading.
Product links in the articles
Some of the older articles — mattress teardowns, bed frame reviews, RV mattress guides — carry a note saying we may earn a commission from links on the page. Where that applies, the commission is paid by the retailer, never added to your price, and it does not decide what we write. We tear mattresses apart and report what is inside them; a product that is badly made gets said so.
What nobody can buy
No provider pays to be listed in the city guides, to rank higher in them, or to be described in any particular way. No listing is sponsored. We do not accept payment to remove a competitor, and we do not remove a free option because it competes with a paid one.
What the directory costs you
Nothing. There is no account, no email required, and no lead form passing your details to anyone. If a listing is useful you can act on it without us knowing, and that is the intended outcome.
Questions
If something here looks like it was written to sell rather than to inform, say so through the contact form. See also our research standards and terms of use.
