What “sourced” means

Listings are reviewed against the provider’s or agency’s own website, and each shows the date it was checked. That is a website check, not a phone call, a visit, or a guarantee that every detail is current. We show source links and check dates on each listing.

What we don’t assume

An unknown price is not free. A nearby location does not automatically accept out-of-area residents. A removal service does not necessarily recycle every item. When a detail isn’t established, we tell you to check with the provider.

A growing directory

We research in layers: national options (store haul-away, pickup companies), state rules and programs, county drop-off sites, and city collection. Each city guide combines the layers that apply to it. Guides cover 803 cities so far and don’t claim to list every option. Collected research is reviewed before becoming a public listing.
