Mattresses must be fully encased in a plastic mattress bag or sleeve sealed with weather-resistant tape such as packing or duct tape; the box spring does not have to be encased. Any single item over 150 pounds is refused, as are electronics, tires, TVs, garbage, auto parts, central air units, insulation, liquids, chemicals, oil-based paint and rock, dirt or sand.
