Schedule by calling (515) 283-4950, staffed 24/7, at least 24 hours before the next regular collection day. Properly stickered items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. with the stickers facing the street. Pink stickers are sold at the City Clerk's Office, 1200 Locust Street, and at listed Hy-Vee, Price Chopper, Fareway and Cash Saver stores. An appliance instead takes seven $5 stickers ($35) and is collected the following Monday; extra bags or boxes outside a full cart take a pink $1 Extra Trash sticker.
