Up to one cubic yard (about a recliner, or two garbage carts) may be placed at the regular collection point for the regular collection day with no request needed. More than one cubic yard requires a special pickup requested online or at 414-286-CITY (2489) after the items are already at the collection point, and carries a fee. Requests above six cubic yards, or for loose or mixed materials such as construction waste, recyclables, tires or brush, are refused and referred to the Department of Neighborhood Services as a property violation. Yard waste, electronics, TVs, appliances and tires are not bulky waste and must go to a Drop Off Center.
